… passed away on Monday 22 December following a long illness.

We remember Dragisa as a remarkable individual and a free-thinking intellectual, who strove throughout his life to develop the martial arts in accordance with the principles of the ancient masters. It was with unwavering dedication and unparalleled personal commitment that he passed on his knowledge on the tatami mats of the Aikidoschule Bern and the Systema Kampfkunstschule Bern, as well as at countless national and international seminars.

Dragisa was a man who not only taught martial arts, but embodied them – with clarity, open-mindedness and a profound presence.

Through your spirit, you have inspired and supported us. You have shown the way to so many people.

You are now embarking on your final journey – and we know that you will live on in the hearts of your wife Renata and your pupils.

We miss you terribly.
